Black Queens midfielder Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has begun a new chapter in her career, signing a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest Women.

The move follows her standout performances at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where she further cemented her reputation as a decisive and creative force.

From WAFCON bronze to Nottingham: Chantelle seals major move

Nottingham Forest announced her arrival by spotlighting her impact during London City Lionesses’ title-winning campaign.

She scored six vital goals, including a match-winning header on the final day against Birmingham City that secured the club’s promotion.

The English side is confident that her sharp finishing and wealth of experience will strengthen their attack as they aim for an even stronger 2025/26 season.

Speaking after signing, the 29-year-old expressed her delight at joining a team that has been on a remarkable rise.

“I’m excited to join the Club and play with this group of players. The team had an incredible season last year, history is being created here, and I’m grateful that I can be a part of continuing to build something special at the Club,” she said, as quoted by the club's website.

Head coach Carly Davies, who has previously worked with the Ghanaian international, welcomed her warmly.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Chantelle to the Club. Having worked with Chaney previously I know the quality, experience and versatility she brings.
"Her ability to influence games, both with and without the ball, will be a huge asset as we continue to push for success. We’re excited to see her in the Garibaldi Red.”

She remained with Everton for eight years before making the switch to Aston Villa in 2021, where she spent two campaigns.

With a proven track record across England’s top divisions and a growing influence on the international stage, Boye-Hlorkah now steps into Nottingham Forest’s midfield to drive the club forward.
