The Spanish sensation lit up the team’s latest training session ahead of their clash with Italian side Como in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Sunday, August 10.

During a drill, Yamal found himself under pressure from left-back Jofre Torrents.

With the confidence of a seasoned star, he pulled off the famous elastico, a move once made legendary by Ronaldinho, leaving Torrents momentarily wrong-footed.

The defender recovered quickly, spinning back into position, but Yamal wasn’t done.

With a quick shimmy, he sent Torrents tumbling to the ground before whipping in a cross.

The goalkeeper managed to collect it, capping off what was a special, if not magical, sequence.

Speaking to YEN.com.gh about Yamal’s prospects for the new season, Awal Mohammed Hudu of Kessben Media said:

According to StatMuse, Yamal completed more dribbles than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues last season, an astounding 145 successful take-ons.

It's a stat that explains why so many already see him as the frontrunner for the 2025 Ballon d’Or, according to GOAL.

He will be hoping to bring the same magic when Barcelona faces Como in this year’s Joan Gamper Trophy.
