Former Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson reunited with his former player Luis Nani in Portugal.

The Portuguese winger recently retired from football and shared a photo with his former coach taking breakfast.

The 38-year-old played under Ferguson at Old Trafford and won many trophies together.

Nani reunites with Ferguson

On Wednesday evening, Nani posted a photo of him and Ferguson having breakfast in Portugal on his social media accounts.

"Delicious breakfast - this time in Portugal - with the great and special company of Sir Alex Ferguson. Amazing time, great memories. See you again soon, boss, Nani wrote on Instagram.

After joining Man United in 2007 from Sporting CP, Nani played 230 times for the club and registered 41 goals and 70 assists, per Transfermarkt. He won four Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League. He left the club in 2015.

Earlier this month, Nani announced his retirement from football. He won the European championship with Portugal in 2016.

Nani also played for Fenerbahce, Valencia, Lazio, Orlando City, and Estrella Amadora.

Amorim discusses Rashford's future

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Man United boss Ruben Amorim addressed Rashford's future after the winger expressed his desire to leave the club.

The England star did an interview and made surprise comments days after he was omitted from the Manchester derby.

The two players have produced underwhelming performances this season.

YEN.com.gh also reported that Ferguson was told to "stay away" from the Man United dressing room.
