In a viral video, the controversial activist accused nurses at Ridge Hospital of failing to give emergency attention to a seriously injured accident victim.
The victim, who reportedly sustained minor injuries, was not being attended to swiftly, according to Williams.
He arrived at the hospital with a group of unidentified supporters, entered the emergency ward, and confronted the staff aggressively.
The situation allegedly escalated as Williams bypassed hospital protocols, recorded patients, and clashed with nurses.
His actions triggered widespread dissatisfaction and anger, with some officials and members of the public describing his behaviour as unlawful and demanding that he face the law.
Others, however, sympathised with Williams, arguing that he was reacting out of frustration with poor healthcare delivery.
They maintained that hospitals often fail to prioritise patients’ needs.

Still, many believe his approach was extreme and that he could have communicated his concerns calmly and effectively without disrupting hospital operations.

Physician assistant's thoughts on the Ridge saga
YEN.com.gh contacted a Physician Assistant, Nimo Calvary, to ask for her honest opinion on what transpired at the emergency ward and whether Ralph should be held accountable for his behaviour at the hospital.
The physician assistant, who has worked at Ridge Hospital before and is familiar with its operations, shared her thoughts on the ongoing saga regarding the possible arrest of Ralph Saint Williams.
She said:
“The situation between Ralph and the hospital staff has two sides. Ralph did not do well by shouting at them, but at the same time, the emergency doctors and nurses could have handled things better."
"An emergency is an emergency, and at all times, there must be a doctor or nurse available to attend to any patient rushed to the emergency ward. In such cases, nurses have to triage."
"By triage, I mean they must stabilise the patient who has just been brought in so that when the doctors arrive, they can continue treatment.”

“In every emergency ward, there should be at least one highly experienced nurse in emergency medicine. An emergency ward is not a place where you sit idly; when patients are brought in, they must be attended to as quickly as possible before moving to the next step."
"Ralph did not act appropriately with his reaction, but the staff in that department could also have done better."
"Nurses and doctors must be properly allocated; otherwise, the pressure will mount. Sometimes, the same doctors attending to patients in other wards are also responsible for the emergency ward. "
"There also needs to be proper supervision.”
When asked whether Ralph should be arrested, she replied:
“No, he should not be arrested.”
