The headmistress shared her concerns during a visit from Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the MP for Korle Klottey, attributing the students' "stubbornness" to a lack of home training.
She lamented that the students disregard cultural values and come to school unprepared for learning.
She explained that some of the students resume school without a basic pen or pencil, but are equipped with an expensive iPhone.
Kinbu SHS headmistress laments students' indiscipline
The headmistress highlighted the students' audacity, describing how they "flash" their phones in the faces of authority figures without fear.
She recounted a recent incident where a student brazenly used his phone right in front of her at the school gate, with no regard to her presence.

According to her, the problem has escalated to criminal acts, with students breaking into the assistant headmaster's office at night to retrieve a confiscated phone.
She noted that when one student was suspended until his parents came to the school, they never showed up.
She said:
"We invited the parent several times. He didn't come. We have asked the student to stay away until he brings his parent. So he's away. He's not coming to school."
This indiscipline, she said, has created an atmosphere of fear, with a visiting supervisor admitting to planning an escape route before entering a classroom.
