Gospel Singer Akwasi Nyarko Prophesies Doom for John Mahama's Government After Helicopter Crash

  • Gospel singer Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko, in a trending video, blamed the recent helicopter crash on John Mahama's poor reception toward him
  • This comes after the singer appealed to the President and his top executives for support after his immense support for their campaign last year
  • Akwasi Nyarko has now claimed that a more tragic incident would befall the nation should he not receive any compensation from the ruling NDC

Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko, a Kumasi-based gospel singer, has claimed that John Dramani Mahama's administration would suffer a great deal beyond the recent helicopter crash, which claimed eight lives.

In a video making rounds on social media, the singer accused the President and his top officials of neglecting him amid his constant appeal to gain their attention.

He claimed to have worked on a song which was used by John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to campaign during the 2024 elections.

However, the gospel singer stated that he had seen nothing in the form of compensation since the President assumed office on January 7 this year.

In the video, Akwasi Nyarko maintained that while he was not pleased with the helicopter crash in the Ashanti region, he foresaw more misfortunes occurring in the Mahama administration.

"You haven't seen anything yet. This is only a plane crash. The next tragedy will be more devastating," he said.
"After I composed a song for John Mahama, I frequented his house many times, trying to gain his attention. I've made several videos, but Asiedu Nketiah, Sammy Gyamfi, John Mahama's wife and others have ignored him. I am suffering. I can't pay my kids' school fees. I'm always crying in my heart," he added.

The crash on August 6 claimed the lives of three military officers and five government officials.
