Omane Boamah raised alarm on presidential jet
There has been no report of a fault with the aircraft that was involved in the accident; however, the late Defence Minister lamented the poor state of the presidential aircraft at a press conference about a month before his passing.
The video of Dr Omane Boamah speaking about the state of the presidential jet is below:
"We’ve been given a date (the presidential jet would return), but I don’t want to put that date out because I’ve been given too many dates which did not materialise, but we are hoping that this date that has been given, we will see the falcon here in Ghana. However, it doesn’t take away the fact that the presidential jet is sick. The truth is that it is heavily corroded," he said.
