An Ivorian woman has warmed hearts after travelling from Ivory Coast to witness Ghanaian music legend, Daddy Lumba's vigil.
On Saturday, August 2, 2025, thousands of Daddy Lumba's fans thronged the Black Star Square to honour the memory of the late musician.

The vigil organised by the Creative Arts Agency on behalf of the state started at 6:00 pm and was expected to end at 10:00 pm.
Daddy Lumba's children were present at the vigil. They expressed grief and also thanked Ghanaians immensely for honouring the late musician. Many of Daddy Lumba's songs were played at the event.
It appears some die-hard fans from other parts of the world attended the event. An Ivorian woman who spoke to a content creator shared her experience.
During her interaction with @kingbygonelive, she noted that she was filled with grief after learning about Lumba's demise.
She noted that Daddy Lumba has been one of her greatest entertainers, and his death has left a deep void in her heart.
Speaking of her favourite Lumba Song, she stated that "Aben Waha" was her all-time favourite, followed by "Ankwanomaa."
