One of Daddy Lumba's biological sons has been spotted at the late singer's residence in East Legon as preparations for his funeral advance.

The young man, who shares a striking resemblance with his father, was seen sitting behind Daddy Lumba's first wife, Akosua Serwaa, as they welcomed relatives and guests coming to pay their respects to the late singer.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the highlife legend's son rose to his feet to welcome and console his father's sister, who was overwhelmed with tears.

They shared a warm embrace and spoke for a brief while before Daddy Lumba's sister carried on greeting the other relatives seated.

Scores of Ghanaians couldn't help but notice the similarities between the young man and the highlife legend.

Daddy Lumba was reported dead on Saturday, July 26, 2025. He fell ill shortly and was rushed to The Bank Hospital, where he died.

Details about the highlife luminary's biological children are scanty. Reports indicate that he was survived by seven children, four with his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, who lives abroad and three with Odo Broni, his current partner.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Daddy Lumba's sister wept as she arrived at her brother's house, days after he died at 60 following a short illness.

In a viral video, Ernestina Fosu was consoled by some individuals as she mourned her sibling immediately after arriving at his residence in East Legon.

Daddy Lumba's sister, also known as Akosua Brempongmaa, also needed help from people to enter the house, seemingly weakened by her deep grief.
