Bishop JY Adu explained that Daddy Lumba initially agreed to come but was unable to settle on a means of transportation.

He noted that Lumba contemplated the means of travelling to Kumasi and did not want to travel by plane.

He seemed a bit shy and did not want people to see him in his poor condition, given his celebrity status.

He also couldn't drive, so he promised to move to Kumasi after consulting a trusted friend who could help bring him there. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and months turned to years, but Lumba never showed up.

Bishop JY Adu noted that he even got a house where Lumba would reside, but the musician never came.

He later learnt that his condition had deteriorated. A relative of Lumba called him and pleaded with him to come and continue treating him, but he refused.
