Controversial US-based Ghanaian social commentator Twene Jonas has paid glowing tribute to the memory of highlife legend Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on TikTok, Jonas looked sombre and composed, and expressed pain over the passing of the highlife legend.
He then went on to state emphatically that none of the new crop of artistes could match up to Daddy Lumba.

"I expressed my deepest condolences to the family. Daddy Lumba, we will miss you. If you are gone, you are gone with Ghana music. Daddy Lumba is the real definition of Ghanaian music. I am not here singing praises because he is no more; if he were a bad person, I would have said it.
"His songs were good, and I always related to them. When Adwenepahene died, I mourned Daddy Lumba. As much as Dada KD's passing pained me, Daddy Lumba's demise hurts a hundred times more," he said in the video.
Otumfuo's daughter eulogises Daddy Lumba
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's daughter, Ohemaa Afia Kobi Prempeh, known in private life as Dr. Caryn Agyeman Prempeh, has mourned highlife musician Daddy Lumba after his passing.
The medical doctor appeared in a video seated inside a luxurious vehicle while being chauffeured around town.

Ohemaa Afia Kobi Prempeh was overwhelmed with emotion and had to restrain herself, almost shedding tears as she cruised in the car with the female chauffeur.
Daddy Lumba's employee mourns late boss
Speaking to YEN.com.gh, Mahamuda Halidu, an employee of Daddy Lumba who works at the North Legon-based radio station DLFM 106.9, eulogised his former boss.
He singled out attributes of him, indicating that he had a high sense of appreciation and bid him farewell as he is no more.

"From my experience with him, I would say he was a man with a high sense of appreciation for anything you do for him," he told YEN.com.gh.
