Popular Ghanaian preacher Nicholas Osei, widely known as Kumchacha, has slammed Ghanaians criticising popular preacher Stephen Adom Kyei Duah over the passing of his church member.
Prophet Kumchacha was baffled in a video and questioned why people were associating the passing of the Canada-based Ghanaian woman with the pastor when doctors have indicated the cause of her death.

"Africans and Ghanaians, especially, have problems. Each time someone dies, we want to blame another person for it," he said in a video.
The well-known preacher further argued that the netizens discussing the issue are neither doctors nor nurses and, therefore, have no authority to dispute the doctor's report regarding the woman's death.
Adom Kyei's church member passes away in Canada
Cecilia Louis, a Ghanaian woman based in Canada and a church member of the Philadelphia Church of Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, has passed away after reportedly fasting for too long.
Family members of the late Ghanaian claimed that her death was a result of the controversial preacher’s religious doctrines.
However, speaking on Second Chance TV, an executive of the Canada branch of Adom Kyei's church clarified what happened to the woman.

Bro Kingsley confirmed that the woman was a member of the church and also indicated that doctors said she passed away from hunger.
He, however, explained that the woman had stopped coming to church for about a year, without communicating her reason.
He noted that while she was still a member of the Philadelphia Movement, the church in Canada ensured she lived comfortably.
"She had a lot to eat when she was still with us. Those she lived with ensured she lived a good life. And every Sunday, when she attended service, we gave her money. She was okay until she parted ways with us," he said.
Kumchacha defends Adom Kyei Duah
Reacting to the controversy surrounding the woman's passing, Kumchacha cautioned Ghanaians against tarnishing the image of God’s servants out of hatred and jealousy.
He further clarified that Stephen Adom Kyei’s church does not practice fasting; therefore, linking the woman’s death to the church was absurd.
