Peter Bafemi Anala's wife has reflected on the last moment he shared as a husband and a father to their two-month-old baby before the tragic helicopter crash on August 6.

During the mass vigil and memorial service held at Christ the King Parish, the young widow eulogised her husband in her tribute.
With a lot of pain in her voice, Peter Anala's wife described him as a hardworking man who was dedicated to his career.
"Peter told me he will never allow me to lift a finger because he will lay both hands for both of us and true to his word, I have not had to struggle for anything," she said.

According to the young woman, a mysterious encounter happened when her husband last saw their two-month-old child.
"A few months ago, when you held my hand in the delivery room during the birth of our beautiful baby, we had a new hope for our future and expectations for our family and the life we want to have."
"I expected you to stay with me for at least a month to help us settle into our new reality, but for the love you had for your country, you had only a week to spend with us. Before you left, our daughter held you back for an extra week because she wasn't feeling well. Now I know why she was holding you from going back."

Who died in Ghana army helicopter crash?
The August 6 helicopter crash killed eight people, including two ministers.
The passengers were aboard a Ghana Air Force Harbin Z-9 helicopter when it crashed at Adansi Sikaman, in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.
The fatalities included Dr Alhaji Murtala Muhammed, MP for Tamale Central and Minister for Environment, Science & Technology, Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator, and Samuel Aboagye, Former Parliamentary Candidate.
Military personnel Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Twum Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah also perished.
Police block roads for state funeral
Earlier, YEN.com.gh also reported that preparations for the state funeral of the August 6 helicopter crash victims, including Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, had begun.
In a statement, the police urged motorists to look out for diversions for traffic from La, Labone and Osu on the 28th February, among others. Only vehicles with approved windscreen affixed entry stickers will be allowed to enter the Black Star Square arena and park there.
The police said the arrangements are to ensure public safety and smooth traffic management during the solemn state ceremony.
