Albert Kwadwo Twum Boafo cautioned Shatta Wale against engaging in any financial crimes that could result in him possibly getting extradited to the US to face a court of justice.

He noted that even though the dancehall musician had a massive following, like the ones who rushed to the EOCO headquarters to protest his detention, those individuals would not have the means to follow him when he is extradited for committing any serious crimes.

He said:

"For your own sake, don't get involved in a criminal enterprise and racketeering that can result in you being extradited to the United States to face justice. That is my advice to him. You have a following. We saw them yesterday."
"If you get to the point when the FBI wants to extradite you to the States because you are a suspect in racketeering, your fans cannot get a visa to follow you there. Salam Mustapha will not follow you there."
