Pastor explains Daddy Lumba's supposed 'will song'
During one of his sermons, he explained that Daddy Lumba left his will in his 1992 song titled Makra Mo, which means 'I have bid you farewell'.
In explaining the song, he mentioned the lyrics reading that when he is no more, people should not forget his fellow sisters, Akosua Brempomaa and Faustina Fosu.
"Ah, Kwaku Pɔn wo ne me mma nyinaa. Mmm, Faustina Fosu ei, ne Akosua Brempomaa o," read the lyrics from the hit song.
The pastor also mentioned that the lyrics also highlighted the struggles of his ex-wife, Akosua Serwaa, and in the song, Daddy Lumba urged people not to forget her.
'Ɔne abusuafoɔ yi a, ɛmma mo werɛ nfiri Akosua Serwaa da o, na wabrɛ', means 'my family, never ever forget Akosua Serwaa because she has toiled'.
Apostle Amanfo went on to explain that the legendary highlife musician, in his continuing verse, noted that if all that he had mentioned in Makra Mo, his spirit would become ɔsaman twɛntwɛn, meaning a roaming ghost who has not found peace.
"Moyɛ no saa a mɛyɛ ɔsaman twɛntwɛn. Mabɛgyina kurotia asu dabiara Charles ei. Merekrakra mo o, ebia na moahu me biom da, ah. Ɛ'awerɛhoɔ o."
