Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba's first wife, Akosua Serwaa visited his residence on Friday, August 1, 2025, to mourn his demise.

Footage of the late musician's first wife, who is based abroad, arriving in Ghana has emerged on social media.
In the video seen by YEN.com.gh, Akosua Serwaa wore an all-black outfit as she landed at the Kotoka International Airport late in the night.
Daddy Lumba's close friend and business mogul, Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong), and his children, including his eldest son, Calvin Kwadwo Fosu, and prophet Papa Shee, welcomed Serwaa at the airport and claimed her belongings.
Akosua Serwaa looked sad as she hugged another individual, believed to be an associate of her late husband. She later conversed with two of her daughters before departing the Kotoka International Airport.
Her appearance at the airport marked a rare public sighting for Daddy Lumba's wife, who had remained out of the limelight despite being married to the music icon for decades.
Not much information is known about Akosua Serwaa other than the references Daddy Lumba made about her in most of his songs.

Daddy Lumba, considered by many as the greatest musician in the Ghanaian music industry's illustrious history, sadly passed away at 60 on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

The highlife music icon died from a short illness while he was on admission at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, for treatment.
Since his untimely passing, many prominent personalities, including politicians and musicians, have visited the late Aben Ho Ha hitmaker's residence in East Legon to mourn with his family and sign the book of condolences.
Former President Nana Akufo-Addo, Kennedy Agyapong, Pat Thomas, Kojo Antwi, Serwaa Amihere, Malik Basintale, Ofori Amponsah, Chairman Wontumi, Becca, Kwabena Kwabena, and many others have all visited the late musician's residence to pay their respects to his family.
A Candle Night Vigil is set to take place at Independence Square in Accra on Saturday, August 2, 2025, to honour Daddy Lumba's memory and celebrate his legacy.
