TI Amass holds vigil for Daddy Lumba

In a video trending on social media, the students of TI Amass gathered at the school's park for a candlelight vigil in honour of the late highlife legend.

The students, at the top of their voices, sang Daddy Lumba's songs, danced while some looked sad as they remembered the life of the musician.

The touching gesture in the video depicted hundreds of students singing in unison to the Ankwanoma song while holding a lit candle.

In the caption of the video posted by The Asante Nation, Daddy Lumba's alma mater, Juaben SHS, was requested to follow in the steps of TI Amass and pay homage to the deceased musician.

The Asante Nation also urged Nsutaman Catholic SHS to do the same since the late Daddy Lumba also schooled there.

"•Juaben SHS, we are waiting for your tribute to your Old Boy, Daddy Lumba. •Nsutaman Catholic SHS, Daddy Lumba is your son."
