Ama Official rose to prominence in 2023 after she accused Asantewaa’s brother, Kayverli, of allegedly taking advantage of her when she visited him to help her advance her career.
Her allegations stirred drama on social media and led to a drawn-out feud with Asantewaa.
Ama Official allegedly diagnosed with terminal illness
On August 11, 2025, Ama Official joined a TikTok Live session to address rumours that she had fallen ill.
She confirmed the news and said she was in a hospital receiving treatment.
Her fellow TikToker Madea, shared that their colleague had been diagnosed with diabetes, which had gradually affected her kidneys and left her needing dialysis for survival.

Asantewaa reacts to Ama Official’s sickness
In a video shared to social media on Friday, August 22, 2025, Asantewaa shared her reaction to news that her bitter rival had fallen ill.
She appeared happy over the news and said she had prayed to God for Ama Official to fall sick and she believed God had heeded her prayer.

Asantewaa asked people not to take sides when an issue arises on social media, or they put themselves at risk of suffering curses when they back the wrong person.
“This young lady disgraced my brother and me on social media, and people stood by her and supported her without hearing my side of the story. Just because we didn't speak did not mean her story was true. I kept quiet and prayed to God to give her an illness with no cure, an illness that she would roam the earth and find no medicine for. That's what I prayed to God for,” she said.
