“I never answered you, and till today I don’t have an answer,” she said.

Madam Rita reminisced about their first meeting on a medical school bus, despite not being a medical student, and the love story that blossomed through laughter and late-night walks.

She described Dr. Boamah as a loving and perfect father who, despite his demanding roles as a doctor and politician, always made time for family.

“Despite your busy schedule, you either bathed the children every morning or dressed them while I bathed them. You were their favourite teacher, knowing their syllabus back to back and making time for both study and play,” she said.

Dr Omane Boamah's wife pledged to care for their three children and her mother-in-law, drawing strength from the belief that her husband would be watching over them from heaven.

“Kofi B, thank you for loving me, thank you for loving the children, thank you for loving my family and all who came to know you. Rest in power, my love.”

Twum Ampadu’s widow gives coded military farewell

YEN.com.gh reported that the wife of the late Ghana Armed Forces officer, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, delivered a deeply moving tribute during the state funeral for the victims of the recent military helicopter crash.

Twum Ampadu’s widow, a Lieutenant in the Ghana Navy, broke hearts as she bid farewell to her husband using a message encoded in the NATO phonetic alphabet, the familiar “Alphas” and “Bravos” used in military communication.

Her coded military tribute, later explained by experts, carried a heartfelt goodbye understood within the armed forces community. The touching gesture added a deeply personal and symbolic layer to the ceremony, as Ghana honoured the memory of the fallen heroes who died in the August 6 crash.
