She also shared a photo of herself with other individuals, including veteran actors Mr Beautiful and Akofa Edjeani Asiedu and the Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Dzifa Abla Gomashie, in the office of the agency during their swearing-in ceremony.
In a lengthy social media post, Kokui Selormey Hanson expressed her gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and the Creative Arts Minister Dzifa Abla Gomashie for the appointment.
"Tsale. I'm honoured to be appointed by H.E. John Dramani Mahama to serve on the Governing Board of the Ghana Creative Arts Agency. 🙏🏾.
"The creative sector isn’t just about the façade of glitz and glamour—it’s Ghana’s untapped goldmine and our most powerful marketing tool. We sing, dance, act, paint, sculpt, and storytelling, now it’s time to strategise, invest, and export.
"The world loves Ghana—they just don’t know it yet. Let’s change that. Hon. @AblaDzifa Gomashie, what a privilege it is to be part of your team. Thank you! For God and Country."
Kokui Selormey Hanson became the latest Ghanaian media personality to land an appointment in the John Dramani Mahama-led administration since the National Democratic Congress (NDC) returned to power after the 2024 elections.
