Theresa Abebrese’s grave beside her mother’s

Theresa Abresese passed away on February 27, 2017 and was buried at the Adugyama Ahafo Ano Cemetery in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The vibrant woman, who died at the age of 53, was laid to rest beside her mother’s grave.

Her mother, Obaapanin Akua Pokuaa, also known as Maame Broni, also died in 2017. Information on the exact month and day when she died was not immediately available by the time of publishing this article.

Their deaths in the same year have been described by many as emotional and rare.

Since Lumba's passing, Theresa Abebrese has been trending, with memories of her life being widely shared, especially the things Lumba once said about her in his popular song titled "Theresa."
