Akosua Serwaa's journey as Daddy Lumba's first wife began in the vibrant music scene of 1980s Germany, where they first crossed paths.
During their time together, she played a critical role in his burgeoning career, even financially supporting the production of his debut album, Yɛɛyɛ Aka Akwantuo Mu, which was released in 1989 under the Lumba Brothers duo alongside Nana Acheampong. Together, they are parents to four children.
In the late 2000s, as Daddy Lumba faced health challenges, he relocated to Ghana while Akosua Serwaa remained in Germany, committed to raising their children.
Following her ex-husband's demise on July 26, 2025, she returned to Ghana with an emotional weight, arriving at his East Legon residence on August 1, 2025.
