Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has praised late musician Daddy Lumba’s wife, Priscilla Ofori-Atta, aka Odo Broni, describing her as a special woman.

Kwaku Manu visited the late singer’s home in East Legon on Thursday, July 31, 2025, to express his condolences on his death.
Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu on September 29, 1964, died on July 26, 2025, at the age of 60.
His death occurred at the Bank Hospital in Accra, where he was taken after he fell ill at his East Legon home.

Lumba died shortly after he arrived at the hospital, throwing the entire nation into mourning.
News of his death initially went viral on social media before his family confirmed the tragedy with a statement.
"With profound sorrow and deep grief, the Fosu family announces the passing of Ghana's beloved musical icon, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, who passed away earlier today, Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a short illness," the statement read.
Kwaku Manu visits Daddy Lumba’s house
Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu arrived at the late actor’s home to express his condolences to his family in the afternoon of July 31.
He was seen wearing a black outfit and being escorted by a few people.
Before entering the home, the actor was asked to state his memories of Daddy Lumba, but he refused to speak until he had completed his visit.

Kwaku Manu praises Daddy Lumba’s widow
Speaking after his visit, Kwaku Manu reserved lots of praise for the late singer’s widow, Odo Broni.
He said he was impressed by her simplicity and humility in the face of tragedy.
Kwaku Manu said his previous encounters with Daddy Lumba's wife confirmed that impression of her.

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Daddy Lumba’s widow wept bitterly during a condolence visit from NPP politician Chairman Wontumi.
Wontumi visited the late singer’s house and was seen in a video consoling her in her grief.
He said her husband’s death is only fleeting because he would live on through his music.
