Prominent Ghanaian politician and actor John Setor Dumelo has courted attention after he was spotted in Church on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

As part of his regular efforts to engage with his constituents, the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency visited a church at Abelemkpe to fellowship with the congregation.
On Monday, July 28, 2025, the Deputy Agric Minister took to his official Instagram page to share a video of himself dancing with a group of elderly women in front of the other congregants during the praises and worship session in the church.
As the women circled him, John Dumelo attempted to showcase his Agbadza dancing skills, which he struggled to do, garnering hilarious reactions.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency MP later took some lessons from the women in what was a fun-filled moment with his constituents at Abelemkpe.

In the caption of the Instagram post, John Dumelo called on Ghanaians to rate his dancing skills.
He wrote:
"Spent my morning in Abelemkpe with church congregants...how was my dance, though?"
Dumelo plays an instrument during church visit
John Dumelo's appearance at the church in Abelemkpe comes months after he also fellowshipped with the Believers' Bible Christian Church Missions Outreach on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
The Deputy Food and Agriculture Minister was seen playing the hand percussion during the praise and worship.
He and a few other ladies stood in front of the church as they played the musical instrument while singing and dancing.

John Dumelo donates rice to Legon students
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that John Dumelo donated rice to the University of Ghana students.
In a photo he shared on Facebook, the politician was spotted handing over 500 bags of 5-kilogram rice to the Dean of Students, Professor Rosina Kyerematen.
John Dumelo's donation formed part of the University of Ghana's Food Bank initiative to support needy students.
