According to the Crime Check Foundation, the Heaven Way church founder has not yet begun her jail sentence.
The foundation's CEO and Executive Director, Ibrahim Kwarteng, noted that he was unable to locate Agradaa's whereabouts after making inquiries at the Nsawam prison.
He explained that the delay in her incarceration was due to procedural and administrative processes that needed to be completed before she could be transferred to prison.

Kwarteng also noted that the embattled televangelist was sentenced on the evening of Thursday, July 3, just before a Ghanaian public holiday on Friday, July 4.

As a result, there were significant delays that hindered officials from completing the necessary administrative procedures, which included the issuance of a warrant for her transfer to jail.
Agradaa reportedly in police custody
According to Accra-based broadcast station Angel FM's court correspondent, Agradaa was still in the custody of the Ghana Police Service and had not been transferred to Nsawam Prison yet despite her 15-year sentence.
She also dismissed some claims that the televangelist had been taken to her residence to await her transfer to prison.
"As I am speaking to you, she is still in police custody. She will not go home to do anything there. As of now, she is in police custody. Her lawyer has filed an appeal this morning."

The correspondent detailed the content of Agradaa and her legal team's appeal to the court in the televangelist's jail sentence. According to her, the evangelist's lawyer had petitioned the court to reduce the lengthy jail term or dismiss it for their client to regain her freedom.
She also emphasised that the Heaven Way International Ministries founder had been given a 15-year jail sentence with hard labour and not the five-year term being circulated on social media by some individuals, including renowned journalists.
