Kofi Adoma recounts struggles after shooting incident

In a video Kofi Adoma shared on social media, he opened up about the struggles he endured after he was shot in the eye.

He stated that after the incident, he would wake up with a swollen face and severe body pains.

"What I was going through... I will sleep and wake up with swollen cheeks and a swollen face. That was where they noticed that the nerves had been inflamed," he said in the video.

Mr Adoma disclosed that he was advised not to chew meat for some time due to the severity of the pains he was experiencing at the back of his head and his face.

He also clarified that currently, he was not allowed to chew meat since he was recovering from the eye surgeries he underwent abroad.

"At that time, I was experiencing severe pain at the back of my head. If you touched it, the kind of reaction one would get from me," he said.

The renowned journalist noted that the pain he used to experience at the back of his head was no more. Adding that there are a few tests to be conducted before he would be given the go-ahead to chew meat.
