Renowned Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adoma Nwanwani is steadily recovering from the severe eye injury he suffered after his shooting incident in Dormaa in December 2024.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, the Angel FM presenter's wife, Miracle Adoma, could not hide her excitement as she rejoiced over the significant progress her husband had made in his recovery abroad.

The journalist's wife wore a beautiful outfit as she stood in the living room of a luxurious apartment and sang gospel musician Mabel Okyere's 2025 hit song, So Far, So Good, to glorify God.

Kofi Adoma shares new update on recovery

Miracle Adoma's video comes after her husband shared a new update on his recovery during an interaction with his close friend and colleague, Magraheb.

The renowned journalist shared that he could now see, but his sight was still not like it was before his unfortunate shooting incident. He also stated that his condition was better than it was at first.

He also opened up about the pain he endured after he was shot in the eye during the Dormaa Festival celebrations. He stated that after the incident, he would wake up with a swollen face and severe body pains.

Kofi Adoma noted that he was advised by doctors not to chew meat for some time due to the severity of the pains he was experiencing at the back of his head and in his face.

He also clarified that currently, he was not allowed to chew meat since he was recovering from the eye surgeries. The renowned journalist added that he was no longer experiencing any pain at the back of his head.

The Angel FM presenter thanked Ibrahim Mahama for funding his surgeries after he was shot in the eye in Dormaa.

Kofi Adoma noted that he wished Ibrahim Mahama would enter politics because he would change more lives if he became president, like his elder brother, President John Dramani Mahama.
