Ghanaian actress Cindarella Blonde, aka Kasawale, who is now a prophetess, has shed light on her new life as a servant of God and addressed rumours of her looking lean.

The actress, in an interview with Smart Ghana, recorded in her temporary home at Atwea Mountains, shut down the rumours that her weight loss was because of an illness.

According to Kasawale, she had reached a level in Christianity which required her to immerse herself deeply into the experience, requiring her to fast and pray more frequently.

"When I started, God was helping me to come to Atwea Mountains where I'll fast for four days at the end of every month. It moved from one week, two weeks, then to 21 days. When it got to 40 days, I was instructed to go into solitude so God can work on me," she said.

In the interview, Evangelist Kasawale noted that she now cleans the altar of her church with glee

Kumawood veteran receives appointment

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Kumawood veteran Sylvester Agyapong had been appointed as a Deputy Political Coordinator for the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC).

In a lengthy social media post by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, he hailed Sylvester Agyapong, aka Sly, who was formerly a Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kwadaso Constituency, for his work ethic and immense contributions to the party over the years.

Sylvester Agyapong would serve as a politically appointed liaison officer who would help in coordinating the political agenda and activities of a ruling party or government within a region.
